Marigny-Music.com a for profit online retail for custom built electric guitars and guitar parts for professional and amateur builders has announced that it will sponsor the New Orleans Youth Build your own Guitar Program. This effort is to help build a stronger sence of community threw education and music for our children.

We will donate our time and all the material needed to build solid body electric guitars for Orleans and St Bernard Parish Youth programs.

We have partnered with Mack McClendon of the Lower 9th Ward Village Community Center to provide a safe place to meet and construct the instruments and in partnership with Peter Spring of the Steven Spring Foundation who is currently offering similar programs for restoring pianos to post Katrina New Orleans.

We are still seeking other non-profit organizations with existing youth programs to help organize, select interested youth,  promote the project and provide any other necessary support.
